Years ago in internet-time, I offered to draw something for swing_set - she asked for something related to Finstock, Greenberg, their shipping wars about Danny/Scott and Danny/Matt, t-shirts, and Finstock as the ultimate matchmaker (because let’s face it, he’s the ultimate Scott/Danny shipper).

My mind warped it into this! Sorry!

Greenberg was a lost cause. Matchmaking required subtility. Fingerspitzengefuhl.Something Greenberg did not know anything about. Much less the holy letter combination O-T-P!

Greenberg sells Pairing Merchandise to officially: help finance a trip for the Lacrosse team, and to unofficially - support all Danny ships.

Finstock despairs because he sells mugs, buttons, calenders, what have you, with Danny/Scott AND Danny/Matt. Sacrilege! But he still buys a Danny/Scott one to support his OTP, stealthily wearing it under his training jacket.

so, while reading thestarbeast’s alpha spikes, what naturally caught my attention was… Derek’s spiky crown. Because that’s what’s really the focus point here, right. How does it look like???

A very sketchy thing. I tried to do something fast, which worked until I went NO HAVE TO REFERENCE FACE.

Attention: my own personal head-canon for swingset’s Ain’t that a kick in the head verse. I pester her with questions, and then she incepts me faster than my hand can hit my forehead going DUH.

This is Derek and Stile’s first encounter on the platform - in my mind: Derek kindly informs Stiles, who was happy he had found an empty compartment, that this is the Prefect’s compartment, and what the hell is he doing, 20 points from Ravenclaw. It’s also how Stiles lost Ravenclaw points before he was even in the house. He’s wearing his mother’s scarf… and is actually sorted into Ravenclaw, making the point deduction valid. As for Derek…… he might be a werewolf, and he might be a bit confused about his own reaction to that clearly very clueless boy.

Thinky thoughts! Grimms are like creatures - maybe because of a curse. Nick just did not have the trigger yet to completely transform.

Grimms are meant to keep other creatures in line by being Judge and Executioner.

Everything unnecessary for their task in their form is gone: No jaw, so they cannot talk. No ears, so they cannot hear. A third eye so they see everything. (Also the reason for Nick’s uncanny Sherlockian ability to see things.)

This way, a verdict and its execution cannot be influenced.

The stories told to Creature children about Grimms have a grain of truth. Because the ability to see is not the ability to judge justly, and there have been Grimms who …. just killed, basically. Seeing everything is a burden.
